Sad News
It is with a heavy heart that I share this sad news.
For many of us, our world changed on Saturday when we found out that we lost one of our own, Jon LaFramboise, in an avalanche while snowmobiling.
Jon was on the board of SDSA since 2010 and served as SDSA President 2017-2019. Jon will leave a huge hole in a lot of people’s lives.

Governor’s Ride Cancelled
Unfortunately, the annual Governor’s Ride in the Black Hills of South Dakota scheduled for February 11 & 12 has been cancelled. Mother Nature has not been providing us with adequate snow to show you a beautiful day of riding. We are sorry to have to cancel this event, but it seems the only responsible decision to make.
We hope that you’ll put our 2023 ride on your calendar. We are planning that tentatively for February 10 & 11th, .
If you have made reservations at hotels, please make sure that you get them cancelled.
